Our tour begins with a thought-provoking introduction to the exhibition with selected stories of unique objects and stories from the history of Danish royal children. Hear about Leonora Christina, who was allowed to hit her siblings in school, Christian IV’s time in school at Koldinghus without his mum and dad and the story behind the rare wax busts of Frederik (VI) and the orphan Carl.
After the introduction, you explore the exhibition The Royal Child on your own. The guide will be on hand to provide additional information. We can conclude the tour with a group wrap-up, where you can also ask questions.
