The audio guide takes you on a journey through four generations of kings, from Christian IV to his great-grandson Frederik IV, and tells you the stories behind the rooms, objects and people who left their imprint on the castle.
On your way through the castle, you will also be guided into the old wine cellar, where rare treasures are stored side by side: beautifully decorated weapons, exquisite ivory carvings and wine that has been in the cellar for 400 years.
Your tour culminates in the Kingdom’s Treasury, where the regalia and some of Denmark’s most precious objects are on display – an experience that offers a unique insight into the history of the Danish monarchy.
